Any aficionado of this musical genre will be overwhelmed by the literacy of the 27 essayists who explain not only what they have recognized as Power Pop but also take us closer to Power Pop bands, releases and musicians and how they became addicted to Power Pop. 27 essays bursting with knowledge, insight, emotion and expertise - all extremely well-written and intellectual. The writers of these essays are all persons of renown, be they authors, journalists, producers, musos, professors or editors. Once I started reading I couldn’t stop, and believe it or not, as soon as I had finished page 267 I read the whole book again starting from the beginning. For me, Go All The Way ranks among the Top 5 of music books.
